About Us

     Jay Vinson is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. He was licensed as a minister in the Church of God In Christ and began preaching at the age of 15. He is a man of integrity, incredible faith, and a firm believer in the power of prayer. His ministry is designed to help the unbelievers and believers discover what their purpose and calling is in life. By faith he believes that we all have a purpose to be who all God has destined and called you to be. 

 

In 2012, Pastor Jay, was appointed as Lead Pastor of Outreach Ministries in Tuskegee, Alabama after the passing of his predecessor. 

 

Under his leadership growth began to take place within the ministry and Outreach. With much prayer, Pastor Jay was led by God to change the name of the ministry and make the transition from an Independent Ministry to a Non- Denominational Ministry. 

 

 Jay has been serving as Lead Pastor of the True Life Church Tuskegee, Alabama and is the Founder of Jay Vinson Ministries based in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been featured on Praise 102.5 Atlanta’s Inspiration Radio Station, WATC TV 57 Atlanta Live, and Preach The Word Network Books of the Month promoting both of his books Pain to Purpose and Stepping Into Greatness From Pain to Purpose.

 

Jay holds a few degrees, which includes a BA in Mass Communication from Auburn University, and a Masters in Instructional Technology from University of West Georgia. Pastor Vinson holds a few distinguish honors from both universities as a member of the Students Dean's list, and a member of Phi Sigma Pi, National Honor Society at Auburn University. As, well as a member of Phi Kappa Phi, National Honor Society at University of West Georgia. 

 

 

Jay loves spending time with his family, playing and watching sports, traveling, but most importantly love mentoring and helping our youth. He is currently living and working in the Atlanta Metro area where he is an Educator and currently employed as a Technology Instructor. He has also worked for the Atlanta Braves, Gwinnett Braves, Atlanta Falcons, University of West Georgia Football, and Auburn University Video Production staff.  

 

 

Finally, Jay is also a Certified Youth, Spiritual, Health and Wellness Life Coach, Author, Inspirational Speaker, and CEO of JJV Enterprises- JJV Vinson Corp.  

JJV Enterprises offers programs that encourage family bonding, gives parents creative ways to be effectively involved in their young person's life, (even in times of great difficulties such as when a young person is engaging in problematic behaviors), and offer social service referrals to individuals, youth, and their families that can help them navigate through life challenges. 

 

Pastor Jay Vinson is a dynamic speaker filled with Revelation knowledge! Conference participants can expect an atmosphere of spirit-filled teaching and preaching in the presence of God for this inspiring and transforming keynote speaker. Conference Organizers may also request Pastor Jay to conduct breakout sessions as well.
